What happens on a forklift training course?

When you attend a forklift training course, you’ll be taught the rules and regulations that cover industrial trucks, as well as the basics of forklift driving. Most forklift training courses are a mix of classroom and ‘on-truck’ instruction. At the end of your training course, you will be given a practical and theory forklift test and, If you pass, you’ll receive your forklift operator licence and you can legally and safely drive a forklift on the job.

Will I still need forklift training if I’m already certified?

If you are a certified forklift operator, you will need to have some form of forklift retraining (You have to have a refresher course every 3 years) to maintain your certification. If required, we can also offer residential packages for Trainees wishing to take advantage of our courses who don’t live within a reasonable commuting distance.
